Let us explain how Rackd works
Rackd is a clothing resale shop where you can sell your clothes — without the hassle of posting online, shipping, or meeting up with buyers.
We give you the space, and you stay in control.
1. Rent a rack
Head to our booking site and choose a Friday you’d like your rental to start.
When booking, you’ll notice a time duration — this is simply how long it may take you to set up your rack:
• Small racks: ~1 hour
• Medium racks: ~1.5 hours

This depends on how many items you’re bringing, including clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Your rack will be out on the floor and selling for the full week until the following Thursday night unless multiple weeks booked of course.
2. Set up your rack
When booking, you’ll see a start time of 10:30 AM — this is just when we open, not a required arrival time.

You can come in anytime during business hours on your scheduled Friday to set up your rack.

All you need to bring are your cleaned clothes — we’ve got the rest covered!

We provide:
• Hangers & clip-on hangers
• S-hooks
• Tags + tagging guns
• Lint rollers
• And other setup supplies

You can:
• Bring your own clothing
• Style your rack however you’d like
• Make it your own space

Don’t have time to set up?
We offer a staff setup service for $25. Just drop off your items and we’ll handle it for you!
Please include a detailed price list — otherwise, staff will price items at their discretion.

Bonus tip ✨
To shorten your setup time, feel free to stop by a day or two before your rental to pick up tags and fill them out at home ahead of time!
3. Price your items & promote your rack
You decide what to sell and set your own prices.

We provide the tags and system to keep everything organized, but you stay in control of your pricing and inventory.
We also encourage you to take photos of your rack and promote it on your social media — this is a great way to drive more people in to shop your items specifically and boost your sales!

Optional Discount Days ✨
When booking, you can choose to opt in or out of our discount days:
• Wednesdays: 20% off your rack
• Thursdays: 40% off your rack
4. Restock (or remove items anytime)
Your rack is yours for the week!

You’re welcome to:
• Restock with new items
• Rearrange your rack
• Remove items at any time

If you also sell on other platforms (like Depop, Ebay, etc.), you can manage that — just keep in mind items could potentially sell in-store as well.
5. We sell for you
Once your rack is set, we handle everything else:
• Customer interaction
• Checkout process
• In-store experience

You don’t need to be present — we do the selling for you!
6. You get paid
At the end of your rental period, you’ll receive 70% of your total sales.

Payouts can be made in cash if available in-store, but we recommend using Venmo or Cash App for a quick and easy transfer.

No meetups, no shipping, no stress — just drop off, let it sell, and get paid.
Additional payout details:
-
Rackd charges a $3 weekly supplied reimbursement fee deducted from payout. This helps cover the costs of maintaining supplies like hangers, tags, and other necessary items.
7. End of rental & pickup
At the end of your rental, you’ll come pick up any unsold items the following Thursday. We have a pick up window from 6pm-7pm.

We offer optional extended pickup days:
• Friday pickup: $3
• Saturday pickup: $6
• Sunday pickup: $9

If you choose an extended pickup option, your rack will be taken down at the end of your rental period and your items will be safely stored in the back until pickup.

Important:
Items not picked up by the end of business hours on Sunday will become property of Rackd and any payout will be forfeited.
Additional things to know:
• Sellers assume responsibility for their items
• The store is monitored with security cameras
• New racks rotate weekly, so inventory is always fresh
For Shoppers:
Everything in Rackd comes from real people in the community — so every purchase supports someone local.
With new racks added each week, there’s always something new to discover, making every visit a little different
