Let us explain how Rackd works
Rackd is a clothing resale shop where you can sell your clothes — without the hassle of posting online, shipping, or meeting up with buyers.
We give you the space, and you stay in control.
1. How to Book & What to Expect
When booking, you’ll select your rack size:
• Small Rack – $20/week (~$22 total after taxes & fees)
Holds about 30–35 hanging items + 2 shelves for shoes or accessories
• Medium Rack – $25/week (~$27 total after taxes & fees)
Holds about 50–60 hanging items + 1 shelf for shoes or accessories
Choose a Friday you’d like your rental to start. When booking, you’ll see a start time of 10:00 AM — this is just when we open for rack set up, not a required arrival time. Shoppers open time is 11:00 AM
Discount Days
When booking, you can choose to opt in or out of our discount days:
• Wednesdays & Thursdays: 20% off your rack
• Wednesdays: 20% off your rack, Thursdays: 40% off your rack
Your rack will be out on the sales floor and selling all week, from Friday through Thursday night. If you book multiple weeks, your rack will stay out continuously for that full time.
2. Tagging Requirement
To keep setup quick and smooth, all sellers are required to pick up a tagging gun and tags ahead of time.
• Tagging supplies can be picked up up to 6 days before your rental start date during business hours
• All items should be tagged and ready to hang before arriving on Friday
• We recommend tagging more items than your rack holds so you’re able to restock throughout the week
Important:
• Tagging guns and any unused tags in tag box must be returned on your setup day (Friday)

Even if you have multiple consecutive weeks booked, your tagging gun and tag box must still be returned on your scheduled Friday. To make restocking easier throughout your rental, we recommend tagging additional items at home in advance. Otherwise, restocking can be completed in-store using Rackd's tagging guns and tags.
• Failure to return supplies will result in a $10 deduction from your payout
You decide what to sell and set your own prices.
We provide the tags and system to keep everything organized, but you stay in control of your pricing and inventory. We recommend to price items 40-60% off retail.
Don’t want to deal with anything?
We offer a staff setup service for $10 — just drop off your items and we’ll handle everything for you
Please include a detailed price list — otherwise, staff will price items at their discretion.
3. Friday Set Up
You may arrive anytime during business hours on your scheduled Friday to set up your rack. From 10 AM–11 AM, the store is open exclusively for sellers to get their racks organized before shoppers arrive. Shoppers will begin entering at 11 AM, but you are welcome to continue setting up anytime throughout the day if needed.
The earlier you arrive, the more selling time your rack will have on Friday 👀
Please bring your clean, pre-tagged items, and all you’ll need to do is hang everything on your rack and get it styled how you’d like 🤍
We provide everything to help you get set up:
• Hangers & clip-on hangers
• S-hooks (perfect for accessories, jeans, purses, etc.)
• Size dividers to keep your rack organized
• Lint rollers & a fabric shaver (available behind the desk if needed)
For kids clothing (newborn–6T):
We have special rack divider inserts that allow you to fit double the amount of items. If you’re bringing kids clothes, please plan to tag double the amount to fully utilize your space
You can:
• Bring your own clothing
• Style your rack however you’d like
• Make it your own space
4. Promote your Rack
We highly encourage you to promote your rack while it’s in the store — this is one of the best ways to boost your sales
• Take photos or videos of your rack once it’s set up
• Share it on your Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook
• Let your followers know your items are available to shop at Rackd
The more you promote, the more people come in specifically looking for your items
We’d also love to help promote you!
• Tag us in your posts so we can repost on Rackd’s Instagram & Facebook
• Or feel free to send us photos/videos of your rack, and we can post it for you
This is a super easy way to get more eyes on your items and increase your chances of selling throughout the week
5. Restock (or remove items anytime)
Your rack is yours for the week!
You’re welcome to:
• Restock with new items
• Rearrange your rack
• Remove items at any time
If you also sell on other platforms (like Depop, Ebay, etc.), you can manage that — just keep in mind items could potentially sell in-store as well.

If your rack starts to look low during the week, we may reach out with restock opportunities so you can bring in more items and maximize your sales

6. We sell for you
Once your rack is set, we handle everything else:
• Customer interaction
• Checkout process
• In-store experience
You don’t need to be present — we do the selling for you!
7. End of rental & pickup
At the end of your rental period, you’ll pick up any unsold items on the following Thursday between 6:30 PM–7:30 PM.
Please note that payout and pickup will NOT be available before 6:30 PM. The store closes to shoppers at 6:00 PM so our team can finalize payouts, organize racks, and prepare items for a smooth pickup process. We kindly ask that sellers do not arrive early unless an extended pickup option was purchased for the days after.
If you booked multiple consecutive rental weeks, this pickup schedule will apply to the Thursday of your final rental week.
We also offer optional extended pickup days if you’re unable to make the standard Thursday pickup window:
• Friday pickup: $5
• Saturday pickup: $6
• Sunday pickup: $7
If you choose an extended pickup option, your rack will still end at the conclusion of your rental period. Your remaining items will be taken down and safely stored in the back until your selected pickup day.
While taking down your remaining items, if there’s anything you no longer want, feel free to place it on our donation rack 🤍 Items on the donation rack are heavily discounted to help them find a new home, and any remaining items are donated to local nonprofits and organizations in need.
Important:
Items not picked up by the end of business hours on Sunday will become property of Rackd and any remaining payout will be forfeited.
8. You get paid
At the end of your rental period, you’ll receive 70% of your total sales.
Payouts can be made in cash if available in-store, but we recommend using Cash App for a quick and easy transfer.
No meetups, no shipping, no stress — just drop off, let it sell, and get paid.
Additional payout details:

Rackd charges a $3 weekly supply fee deducted from payout. This helps cover the costs of maintaining supplies like hangers, tags, and other necessary items.
If you book multiple weeks (ex: 2+ weeks), you have two payout options:
Option 1: End of Rental (Recommended)
You can wait until the end of your rental period weeks and receive your full payout when you pick up your remaining items. This is the easiest option
Option 2: Weekly Payouts
If you prefer to be paid out weekly, you must come during our Thursday pickup window (6:30 - 7:30 PM) to receive your payout and sign a receipt.

Additional things to know:
• Sellers assume responsibility for their items
• The store is monitored with security cameras
• New racks rotate weekly, so inventory is always fresh
